Darwin Vs. Marx
A reply to a comment placed by a friend in ‘Evolution – The scientific front’:
“The matter, put simply, is thus: Evolution is a materialist theory, while you are anti-materialist!”
Now, let’s see… in only one sentence, you manage to compact two false statements. What makes me sad is that I suspect that you knew that […]
The Becker-Posner Blog
I just found out at e-roosters a link for The Becker-Posner Blog. THUMBS UP!

From the CATO Institute Daily Dispatch (Sep. 15, 2005):
Pledge of Allegiance Declared Unconstitutional

In its defense, the company said that “its local country sites must operate within the laws, regulations and customs of the country in which they are based”. It is a known practice of the Chinese government […]

The Supremes
Many people think that whatever happens with the U.S. Supreme Court is an internal issue of the U.S. and bears no relevance whatsoever with what happens, or will happen, here in Europe. My opinion is that, although the Supreme Court is indeed an American institution, its influence on judicial matters, and politics in general, […]
