Someone should put Numenta HTM and Photosynthtogether. I think HTM could speed up the process of finding associations between pictures, and probably also reduce the capacity demands. Just an educated guess, of course.

I had similar thoughts this past weekend. I wasn’t thinking of Photosynth specifically, but that would be a nice showcase for their capabilities.
You should post something on one of the numenta forums (if you haven’t). I think they’re a bit of an academic company and could use some help in marketing and identifying business opportunities.
